150 Billion dollars

One million for you
One for me
One for him
One for her

300 million Americans. For argument's sake 1/2 of them are 18 and over.

Everyone gets 1 million.

That is the amount of pork they added to this lousy 700 billion (plus the pork) bailout.

They can't possibly have you using this money, quitting your job and not delivering the food supplies, or showing up to work and opening the store.

So, no. You don't get to be trusted with money. You may use it to pursue your idea of happiness, and we can't have you happy.

We must, instead, trust the "professionals" who have no idea how much money they truly need and are the ones who got us into this mess in the first place.

How about this.... a new "stimulus package" ... how about $500 dollars this time around? After all, the energy bills this winter are bound to be higher than last year.

Or, How about $250,000 per tax payer?

It is not enough to quit your job but enough to give you a nest egg.

Why?

Because since we are adding $150 Billion in pork to the obscene $700 Billion Bail out.... let's grease the working stiffs too.

This time instead of the "trickle down economics" let's try the direct approach and cut each citizen and decent check instead of the insulting amounts that barely buy you a tank of gas and a bag of groceries.

It is akin as being Oliver Twist and begging for another bowl of porridge. How degrading!

The stock market has not recovered.... surprised?

However, my bank just sent me an email to tell me that I am pre-approved for a new mortgage. One I don't need, but they are dying to make.

Have they not learned anything?

PEACE to you all and may your week be a good one.

  1. And let us not forget the executives decided to take some of that bailout money and gave themselves a $400,000 party.

Let me expound on what I could have done with that amount of money.

First and foremost, I would pay off my son's mortgage so they could get their heads above water.

Then I would fund the local food bank that has bare shelves already.

How about the Boys and Girls Club who keeps our kids off the streets. (even though we only have 2 streets).

That would still give me enough to help out some other families in so much need.

And these idiots gave themselves a party, on the bailout money!!!!
